A survey conducted during the first quarter of 2024 found that 68.7 percent of internet users worldwide played video games on smartphones, making it the most popular gaming device. PC gaming via laptop or desktop was ranked second, with a 34.9 percent usage rate. Gaming consoles were the third most commonly used device, with 24.4 percent of internet users opting for them
