The figures are seasonally adjusted estimates, measured using the Retail Sales Index (RSI) and published in index form with a reference year of 2019 equal to 100.
Between Q1 2015 and Q1 2019, sales volume of cosmetics and toiletries increased almost continuously. However, sales volume had substantial fluctuations in the following quarters. As of the second quarter of 2024, sales volume stood at an index point of 114.9.
