This statistic shows the monthly trend in the volume of dispensing chemists' sales (quantity bought) in Great Britain from January 2016 to July 2024. The figures are seasonally adjusted estimates, measured using the Retail Sales Index (RSI) and published in index form with a reference year of 2019 equal to 100. Starting from February 2020, sales increased rapidly and peaked at 188.4 points in June 2020. Since then, sales volume index had an overall fluctuating trend and registered at 85.2 points in July 2024.
