Production value of sugar confectionery in Germany 2008-2023, by product group

In 2023, the German confectionery industry produced soft caramels worth around 285.3 million euros. The production of fruit gum and jelly fruits experienced a large increase in production and is now worth over 1.2 billion euros, with marks an increase of almost 30 percent compared to the year before.
