This statistic shows the distribution of personalized medicine in different therapeutic areas in the United States, as of October 2013. Some 38 percent of personalized treatments were in the oncology field. Personalized treatments are still lower in gastroenterology and rheumatology therapeutic areas with five and four percent respectively.
