This statistic shows the share of employees in the United Kingdom (UK), who feel optimistic about their long-term financial plans with regards to retirement savings, from 2012 to 2015. Introduction of the automatic enrollment plans for employer-supported pension schemes saw a spike in optimism, notably for employees of large businesses. Approximately 45 percent of that group reported feeling optimistic about their long-term finances as of 2015.

Survey fieldwork in 2015 took place between March 31st and April 8th, 2015. Small business means 10 to 49 employees, medium 50 to 249, large - over 250 employees.
