This statistic displays the percentage of countries that have stated they have a stand-alone mental health policy or plan, as of 2020, by (WHO) region. Some 80 percent of countries in the Eastern Mediterranean region had a stand-alone mental health plan. A mental health policy is an official statement by the government or health authority that details strategies, such as budget and timeframe, to reach the objectives of the policy.
