This survey displays the perception of 11-year-old children that believe that they are too fat as of 2009/2010, distributed by select European and North American countries and gender. In Hungary, 29 percent of girls and 25 percent of boys thought they were too fat. The importance of body image tends to increase as young people get older and become more conscious of their bodies due to physical changes associated with puberty.
