This statistic shows the annual expenditure on still wines by households in Spain from 2008 to 2022, by color (in million euros). 2020 ranked as the year in which Spaniards most spent on still red wines, (presumably due to the COVID-19 pandemic) which continued as Spain's favorite type of still wine throughout the period of time under consideration. During this period of time, still white wine has been increasing steadily and peaked in 2020, year in which Spain's expenditure on this type of wine was 202.2 million euros. Still rosés peaked in 2008 at approximately 36 million euros, since then, expenditure on this type of wine has never reached such levels again.
