Chinese self-developed video games had experienced stagnant growths international markets. In 2023, the overseas sales revenue dropped again to 16.4 billion U.S. dollars. Apart from the mature gaming markets, such as United States Japan, South Korea, and Europe, Chinese video game developers and publishers have been trying to tap into the new gaming markets in Middle East, India, Russia, and Brazil.
