The consumption of fresh lettuce by Spanish households in 2021 was approximately 187 million kilos, which is a slight decrease in comparison to the previous year and equalizing the highest figure that has been recorded since 2015, when consumption of this type of vegetable exceeded 200 million kilos. However, the Spanish lettuce production follows a negative trend.
