This statistic shows the annual net income of leading automotive companies in Europe in 2015, according to the Financial Times' Europe 500. German companies dominated the automobile & parts sector, and in terms of net income took the top four spots, and one further German company was in the top 13. The remainder of the companies that made the list were based in either France, Italy, or the United Kingdom (UK). Volkswagen had the highest net income in the last year, amounting to 417.6 billion U.S. dollars. Peugeot experienced an overall loss of 853.7 million U.S. dollars.
