In 2022, the country with the highest value of business angel investments via angel networks out of selected European countries, was the United Kingdom (UK). The value of business angel investments in the UK amounted to over 390 million euros in 2022. This was followed by Germany, with about 206 million euros worth of investments made by business angels that year. The top three is completed by France, with angel investments amounting to a value of 135 million euros.

The survey falls short on accounting for the so called invisible market, which represents a consistent portion of the overall business angels' investments". This figure is not representative for the whole European market, only for business angels who are members of angel networks and therefore can be surveyed (according to the source approximately 10 percent of the estimated total market).
