According to a survey among video game companies in Spain in 2023, more than half of these enterprises were located in Catalonia and the community of Madrid, both representing shares of 30.1 percent and 21.6 percent each. The community of Andalusia ranked third, with 14.4 percent over the total companies in the industry, followed by Valencia, with nine percent each.
