The revenue of the construction industry in Germany increased by 19.8 billion euros in 2022. Overall, the sector generated 389.6 billion euros of revenue that year, while it had just generated 170.8 billion euros in 2010. Those low figures in 2010 might be related to the aftermath of the economic crisis of 2008, as it affected the construction and real estate industries considerably.
