This statistic shows the distribution of positive responses provided by senior employees in the European automotive sector in selected countries when asked in 2014/2015 about their company's current focus in research and development. Respondents from British car companies showed less interest than their French and German counterparts in the design and development of connected car applications and services. UK companies placed a greater emphasis on the importance of research and development of the provision of connected car services.
