The statistic shows the value of Best-in-Class (BIC) investments in the Netherlands from 2011 to 2017 (in million euros). Best-in-Class allows investors to pick those companies that have the best ESG score (Environmental, Social and Governance development criteria) in a particular industrial sector. A BIC portfolio typically includes companies that meet both an ESG and a financial evaluation. Investments in these amounted to 83.5 billion euros in the Netherlands in 2017.
