Total revenue of newspapers in Germany 2009-2023

According to the Federal Association of German Newspaper Publishers, German weekly and Sunday newspapers generated a revenue of 282 million euros in 2022. This was a decrease to the previous year. Revenue of daily papers declined as well, generating approximately 6.4 billion euros in 2023.
