From 2020 to 2022, value of all three financial assets of investment funds increased significantly. In 2022, debt securities accounted for most of the financial assets held by investment funds in Turkey. The total value of debt securities owned by investment funds amounted to approximately 277 billion Turkish lira at that time. The total financial assets of investment funds held in currency and deposits reached a value of around 234.7 billion Turkish lira.
