This statistic illustrates the development in gross written premiums value on the Central European regional insurance market from 2006 to 2013. With the onset of the global recession, premiums on this market decreased dramatically from 32.3 billion euros in 2008 to 25.9 billion euros in 2009. Since then, an increase in premiums was noted: they reached 28.3 billion euros in 2013.
