Revenues in the music industry in Germany in 2024 amounted to round 1.13 billion euros, which was an increase of around 7.6 percent compared to the same period last year. While physical sound carriers accounted for 14.7 percent of sales, the digital segment accounted for more than three quarters of sales at 85.3 percent. Meanwhile, vinyl albums accounted for 5.9 percent of sales.
