In 2021, the number of employees in the information and communication industry in Hungary increased by 6,542 employees (+6.17 percent) since 2020. With 112,556 employees, the number of employees thereby reached its highest value in the observed period. The relationship of employer to employee exists when there is an agreement, which may be formal or informal, between an enterprise and a person, normally entered into voluntarily by both parties, whereby the person works for the enterprise in return for remuneration in cash or in kind.
