UK: coal imports monthly 2014-2023

In July 2023, the United Kingdom's (UK) net coal imports amounted to an estimated 131,000 metric tons. Net monthly coal imports to the UK have declined during the years from 2014 to 2023, dropping as low as 52,000 metric tons in May 2020. The peak of coal imports to the UK during this period was January 2015, when the net coal imported amounted to 3.69 billion metric tons.
