The latest figures on comic and graphic novel sales showed that 735 million U.S. dollars were generated by comic store sales in 2023, up by 30 million from the previous year. Revenue derived from digital downloads declined year-on-year whereas sales from book channels increased, surpassing 1.2 billion U.S. dollars for the first time.
