The changing face of retail: Where did all the shops go?
Sample of 5876 properties, impacted by 27 retail administrations
Supplementary notes
* The report analysed a sample of data (5876 properties) and the impact of stores entering administration from 2009 onwards (27 administrations). The scope of the data is therefore limited to the number of acquisitions from 2009 (when Woolworths entered administration for the last time) to January 2014, and to the number of acquired stores within the sample dataset. It is unclear from the source whether more stores were aquired outside of the sample data during this period.
