The statistic shows the number of degrees granted to students on journalism and mass communication programs in the United States from 1988 to 2013. In the academic year 2012-2013, 51,929 students obtained a Bachelor's degree, 5,465 students obtained a Master's degree and 311 students obtained a Doctorate degree.
