The statistic shows the results of an online survey conducted among 942 Hispanic internet users in the U.S. in November 2013. The survey respondents, who were 18 years and older and who shop for groceries and purchase meat, were polled about their attitudes toward the health benefits of red meat, poultry, and pork, organized by age of the respondent. Some 50 percent of respondents over the age of 55 believed pork to be a healthy part of a balanced diet, while only 23 percent of 18 to 24-year-olds shared that belief.
