This statistic shows the result of a question from the British Social Attitudes survey which asked how the respondents think immigration policy should change, if at all. The results have been split here by occupational class. The majority of respondents across all groups said they were in favour of reducing immigration levels. Those in lower supervisory and technical roles had the highest share of respondents with this view.
