Number of entry visas granted in the UK 2011-2024

For the year ending March 2024, there were approximately 3.38 million entry clearance visas granted by the United Kingdom, compared with almost 3.4 million in 2023, and 1.6 million in 2022. The sudden fall in visa grants, that can be observed between 2019 and 2020, are almost certainly down to travel restrictions brought about due to the COVID-19 pandemic in that year.
