This statistic illustrates the results of a web-based survey conducted by the HPB Education Foundation in 2011. American households were asked about their most common reasons for cooking on a gas grill. Some 52 percent of survey respondents cited to prefer the taste of food that was cooked a gas grill as a reason for its use.
