The majority of the market share belonged to Acer during this time period, with the highest point being in the 3rd quarter of 2012-- the company held over 40 percent of the market. ASUS followed, with almost 30 percent of the market share. In last place was Hewlett-Packard, with just below 20 percent (1st quarter of 2012) as its highest point.
