Do you think the following countries have a positive or negative influence on the world?
Average ratings exclude the target country's rating of itself, meaning some of the averages are based on 21 and not 22 countries. In total 26,299 citizens in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States were interviewed. Countries were rated by half samples in all countries except for Egypt, India, Japan, and Poland. The question was asked in the following wording: "Please tell me if you think the following countries have a mostly positive or mostly negative influence in the world." Missing percentage points out of 100 percent include the following responses: "Depends", "Neither/neutral", "Don't know/no answer".
