In the fiscal year of 2023 (ended March 31, 2024) Mizuno Corporation had global revenues of about 1.5 billion U.S. dollars. The company had registered a slight increase in revenue from the previous year in Japanese yen, but the slide in the value of the yen to a decade's low in 2024 resulted in a lower on-year revenue after currency conversion to the US dollar. The company had reached its peak in the financial year of 2011 at 1.88 billion U.S. dollars.

While the company is based in Japan and generates the bulk of its revenue on the island each year, the company is also active in other regions, such as the Americas and Europe.

While soccer is the most popular sport to watch in many countries around the world, it was only the second-most popular in Japan: in 2022, about a fifth of surveyed Japanese people stated they enjoyed watching soccer.
