Outdoor participation rate in the U.S. 2023, by generation

According to a survey, about six out of ten U.S. Americans who were born from 1980 onwards participated in at least one outdoor activity in 2023. The outdoor participation rate was not as high in older generations that year, with 45.3 percent of individuals born between 1945 and 1964 from the U.S. participating in outdoor sports in 2023.
