In 2023, the East African Community (EAC) exported 3.1 billion euros to the European Union (EU) in goods. This represented an increase of approximately seven percent compared to the previous year. In 2021, the EAC exported merchandise reaching 2.2 billion euros to the EU. According to the source, the exports mainly consist of coffee, cut flowers, tea, tobacco, fish and vegetables.
