From January 24, 2022, to June 30, 2024, Europe provided a total of 118 billion euros in aid to Ukraine in response to the Russian invasion, which began in February 2022. The United States contributed a total of 85 billion euros overall but saw a significant decline during the last quarter of 2023 and the first quarter of 2024.
