In 2024, the attitudes toward online advertising among the selected Nordic countries were similar in some regards. Danish internet users were more inclined than Swedes and Norwegians to decline cookies, with almost 50 percent meaning that they declined cookies at least some of the time. Swedish internet users used ad blockers for some activities more often than respondents from Norway and Denmark. Norwegian respondents used a Virtual Private Network (VPN) for at least some online activities more often than users from the other Nordic countries.
