In 2024, when asked in a survey, an average of 55 percent of consumers in the United Kingdom under 34 stated that they always buy British produce, such as fruits vegetables, meats, fish etc. Among those consumers between the ages of 55 and 65, the share of participants who stated that they always buy such products was about 36 percent.
