This represented an increase of 165 percent on the previous year. For both years, the majority of these came during match broadcasts, which had over 23 thousand individual messages on display in 2024.

Areas where gambling messages were found included pitchside advertisements, shirt sponsors, and sponsor lead-ins. The latter refers to "segments linking commercial breaks and the main coverage outside of the "whistle-to-whistle" ban period."
*Methodology differed for the 2024/25 season, with the source noting that although the figure for that season appeared lower than the previous one, there were not necessarily less paid-in ads on social media.
