Long-term care facilities were described to respondents as a nursing home, assisted living facility or other LTC facility for people who need ongoing support with daily activities.

*Asked of those who, in the last two years, were a resident at a long-term care facility, or a loved one was a resident and respondent says they know the person well enough to answer questions about their living conditions, care, and support (21% of all adults).

**Asked of those who, in the last two years, themselves received care from paid nurses or aides, or a loved one received care and respondent says they know the person well enough to answer questions about their living conditions, care, and support (24% of all adults)
