Skilled cybersecurity staff recruitment difficulties in the EU 2024

According to a 2024 survey, 45 percent of respondents within companies in the EU considered finding qualified candidates the biggest challenge in hiring skilled cybersecurity staff. For another 44 percent, the main obstacle was the lack of applicants.The lack of awareness about cybersecurity roles followed, highlighted by over 20 percent of respondents.
