In 2023, total tourism consumption in Paris and the Île-de-France region amounted to 21.8 billion euros, recovering from the impact of COVID-19. That said, while domestic tourism consumption exceeded pre-pandemic levels, inbound visitors' tourism consumption did not quite catch up with the figure from 2019.
