Out of the ten leading European markets for electric vehicles, Chinese brands were the most popular in the United Kingdom and Sweden. In 2023, one in 10 new battery-electric vehicle registrations were from Chinese makes in these two countries. In contrast, only 3.4 percent of the Belgian BEV market was held by Chinese brands.
