Debit cards record the highest number of transactions in Ghana, compared to credit and prepaid cards. As of 2023, the transaction volume of debit cards in the country reached over 69.8 million, while that of prepaid cards and credit cards amounted to nearly 8.7 million and 575,000, respectively.
