A 2023 survey of information technology and cybersecurity professionals in worldwide organizations found that nearly seven in ten respondents were overwhelmed trying to keep up with the number of collaboration tools used by their company. Furthermore, nearly 60 percent say that employees often download and use such tools without the knowledge of the IT department.
