As of March 2024, Poland was ranked second in the world in the National Cyber Security Index (NCSI), which meant that only one country was better prepared for cyberattacks than Poland. The country reached in nearly every aspect a 100 percent score fulfillment. Only in cybersecurity research and development, it reached less than 67 percent. In all other areas, the figure was at least 67 percent. In general, the country achieved full marks in 8 of the 12 criteria evaluated, making it one of the international leaders. Only Czechia was better prepared according to the NCSI.
National Cyber Security Index (NCSI) in Poland as of March 2024, by indicator
The National Cyber Security Index is a global index which measures the preparedness of countries to prevent cyber threats and manage cyber incidents. The NCSI is also a database with publicly available evidence materials and a tool for national cyber security capacity building. The score fulfillment for each indicator is based on several cybersecurity sub-indicators.
