According to data from 2023, the occupational status of Nordic consumers affects how much they shop online. In Norway, employees purchase the most over the internet, at roughly 95 percent of them. Danish students, on the other hand, engage in e-commerce the most, with around 94 percent of them having bought goods online in the last 12 months. In all Nordic countries, retirees or other individuals not in the workforce purchased the least online. This was the lowest in Finland, at approximately 57 percent.
