A survey conducted globally among retail consumers in 2023 shows how likely they would be to accept products' recommendation from artificial intelligence (AI) tools. Over 50 percent of those shopping in the beauty and electronics segment are willing to accept AI's advice. Those shopping for clothing and groceries range between 40 and 50 percent.

The source surveyed a representative sample of 9,780 consumers from 12 countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Greater China, India, Japan, Spain, UAE, UK and the United States.
