In a 2024 survey, adults in Great Britain explored their level of trust in the marketing practices of baby formula manufacturers. About 50 percent of surveyed women responded that they either didn't trust at all or didn't trust very much that the manufacturers would behave ethically when marketing their product. The same responses in men corresponded to 39 percent.
