The statistic shows sales of frozen fish in Germany, broken down by distribution channel. In 2023, around 95,467 tonnes of frozen fish were sold in Germany in the out-of-home business with bulk consumers such as restaurants and canteens. Another 195,982 tons were sold in regular food retail to private households.
The German Frozen Food Institute represents the interests of the German frozen food industry. As an organization, it represents companies from all parts of the frozen food chain, from production to logistics and retail.
